Dutch-born multibrand fashion retailer The Sting has launched its first webshop in the UK. With over 70 sales points across The NetherlandsGermany and Belgium, The Sting now supports its two London stores with a transactional website which ships across the country. Offering free returns and a money back guarantee, customers can also pick up orders placed online at the stores. Like the new webshop, both the flagship located at Piccadilly Circus and secondary Westfield Stratford store, offer The Sting’s high-street collections which are constructed from over 20 in-house brands, each with its own style identity and hero items. Aimed at 18-29 year olds looking for fun, casual clothing, customers can find cool festival outfits, great party pieces or laid back but trend-led everyday wears. The Sting also offers a wide collection of denim and basics.

Modelled on the original site in The Netherlands, the UK webshop features the signature red and white logo on an industrial grey background. Options on the homepage navigate to the men’s and women’s collections which are updated weekly with new lines, while a brand directory and creative look book imagery to help customers find their perfect looks.

Founded in 1982 in The Netherlands, The Sting was inspired by the Sixties; boutiques, hippie culture, pop music and freedom. The brand name comes from the 1973 film ‘The Sting’ starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford. Being funny, mischievous, cheeky and free are the values that The Sting live by. The Sting has become one of the biggest fashion retailers in The Netherlands and opened its first UK store in 2011. The flagship sits in the prime retail location where Piccadilly Circus meets Regent Street. The second store located in Westfield Stratford, opened just before the Olympics in 2012.
