This Villa, is an architectural gem inspired by Tuscan villas. A magical property, quiet, with old trees, which belongs to the family Guénant and currently led by Berengere. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a weekend, family stay or seminars.

It was the property of the Counts of Provence, created a fiefdom by Henry III in 1576, and the greatest Provençal families owned it in turn. The Alamanons, the Agoults, the Oraisons and the Ponteroys and also the Tourneforts and the Candolles lived there, watchfully preserving this remarkable region. It is a tradition which continues in the family today.

The current castle is Tuscan Italian style. Except for the towers, dating from 1805, nothing has changed, or when the first floor renovated in 1780, a position that did the architect Vallon. Still, the marble fountain in the main garden is attributed to Veyrier, and dates from the early seventeenth. The garden was designed in the seventeenth, although part was redesigned in the eighteenth century, when it was adapted to the French style. The eastern part of the garden were retouched in the nineteenth. Currently olive and almond trees produce an excellent oil.

Since 2002 both the castle and the outbuildings and the garden has undergone a gradual process of restoration keeping the original spirit of the whole. Currently the owner has returned to its original spelling, Baulieu, and the house receives the title of Villa and not castle, in homage to the spirit of the Jullien / Julhans family. With its authenticity between taste, fashion and refinement, the Villa offers 6 Prestige Rooms, 2 Junior Suites and 3 Suites.
