Celebrity chef Mohammad Islam's showcase combines spectacular views with contemporary chic and Art Deco arrangement.

It’s the quintessential home of retro elegance and contemporary dining chic. With old world nous, gorgeous views and exquisite cuisine, Atelier M is a showcase for celebrity chef Mohammed Islam of Chicago’s Ritz Carlton, Dubai’s Capital Club and Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont fame. Islam, given the moniker of the «Modern Master of Spice» by StarChef.com, turned his personal attention into making Atelier M the home of stars and discerning consumers.

«I needed Atelier M to be one of the most beautiful venues in Dubai, and a true defender of fine Mediterranean cuisine. The lounge is Art Deco inspired, and the rooftop boasts impeccable service in an elegant atmosphere. Every window boasts a different view. My aim was to create a personalized experience that was unforgettable,» says Islam.

Atelier M takes up the top 3 storeys of the Pier M hotel overlooking the azure waters of the Dubai Marina. As Islam’s first Middle Eastern showcase, it encompasses his vision of fine contemporary cuisine against a backdrop of retro elegance and spectacular views.

The aim, says Islam, was to create a complete experience where wonderful occasions flow into each other. «It’s the only venue inDubai that offers three levels – restaurant, lounge and rooftop. You can spend your entire evening with us in impeccable style without needing to go elsewhere. Kick off with pre-dinner drinks in the lounge, move to our restaurant for great cuisine, and continue the night with live entertainment and excellent DJs on the rooftop,» he says.

Islam’s carefully crafted menu is studded with signature favourites like the Truffle Pizza with Fontina Cheese, Tiger Shrimp Salad with Truffle Vinaigrette, Roasted Lamb Shank with Saffron Risotto, and the Gnocchi with Alaskan King Crab. «It’s a simple formula for excellent cooking. We’ve picked an award-winning team from around the world, use the finest products for our dishes, and buy local and organic when we can,» Islam explains.
