World’s Best Medical Spa

The programme from the World Travel Awards recognises excellence in the rapid growing and lucrative sector of spa tourism. The luxury medical health resort saw tough competition from 5 other medical spas, including the renowned FX Mayr Health Center, Medical Health at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz, and SHA Wellness Clinic for the title during the voting round of the category.

The Lanserhof Tegernsee, Germany uses a uses a symbiosis of traditional naturopathy and stateof-the-art medicine to support the natural healing process and promote physical well-being and inner balance. The medical spa offers outstanding service, luxury accommodation and a broad spectrum of diagnostic, therapeutic and cosmetic programmes.

All of the bespoke programmes developed for guests are based on the successful LANS Med Concept, helping guests get in the best possible health, look glowing and reap the long-term benefits of the therapies. Having only opened in January 2014, the luxury medical health resort has already won a number of awards and accolades, including GQ Best Spa 2014, Destination Spa of the Year in last year’s World Spa Awards and was the first new hotel in the history of the RELAX Guide to be awarded four lilies.

The Lanserhof Tegernsee also won the State-of-the-Art Overhaul category in this year’s prestigous Tatler Spa Awards.
