Underwater Maldives

One of a kind, the Huvafen Fushi resort dives at the bottom of an isle in the Maldives Islands, with unique underwater installations. Inspired by sustainable development, all luxuries aside, the Aquum spa has been built two meters below water with thick glass bulkheads that give us a glimpse of life underwater while receiving an invigorating massage or a seaweed bath. The hotel has two treatment rooms available for thalassotherapy techniques and an exterior pavilion for yoga sessions as well as oriental exercises as a complement to the underwater therapeutic treatments. A pool floating above the ocean and the reef sets the paradisiacal image of the resort, nestled in the northern atoll of the island of Male, capital of the country and only thirty minutes away from the international airport.

Upon landing, a boat from the hotel picks up guests and transports them to one of the 43 bungalows and typical Maldives pavilions aligned on the beach. Some offer private swimming pools and a piece of beach with the added attraction of a wild experience. Everyone is under the care of an around the clock butler, just in case. The gastronomic spectrum does not fall behind in luxury.
