The Spanish giant distribution group is campaigning in Russia to promote shopping in its stores while promoting also the Spanish culture.

El Corte Ingles presented its international campaign «For Shoping Lovers» this year in the journal «Tretyakov Gallery», whose latest edition was dedicated to Spain. In it, among other things, they have published a comprehensive guide to the Museo del Prado, the Thyssen Museum and the Picasso Museum. The Tretyakov Gallery  is a museum that presents an important collection of Russian art. Together with the most famous primitive icons and avant-garde painting of the twentieth century, it includes also masterpieces by painters of the nineteenth century less known to the large international audience, but with a fantastic talent as Repin, Shishkin, Savrasov, Vrubel etc.

Furthermore, El Corte Ingles has sponsored the performance of «Torobaka» of choreographers Israel Galván and Akram Khama, who was on 11 and 12 November in the Stanislavsky Theatre in Moscow.
