Laboratorios Válquer’s personalised cosmetics embark on the international fair circuit.

Laboratorios Válquer has invested more than three years of R&D in Cocoloon’s development. This customised cosmetics project, marketed under the slogan, ‘Only for you,’ invites both professionals and end users to design face creams adapted to the specific needs of each skin type. Launched in the first quarter of 2015, Cocoloon is already available on competitive markets, like those of France and Switzerland.

The combination of hydrating, regenerative, anti-wrinkle and anti-aging properties with purified water generates the purest cosmetic products. From the Cocoloon website, with the assistance of a specialised diagnosis, you can create a tailored formula that addresses each of the symptoms being treated, from oiliness and dryness to sensitivity and discoloration.

Not only can you choose to add or omit sunscreen, you can also select a fragrance (and its intensity), and personalise the packaging. The website also includes an option to send gift cards. This is the latest innovation from Laboratorios Válquer, a company founded in 1975 that develops 900 products, including the SBS Healthy Hair Treatment (Tratamiento de Salud Capilar SBS), the French Straightening treatment (Alisado Francés), and the Olive Mask (Mascarilla de Olivo), sold in more than 31 countries, including China, Switzerland, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, and the United States.

As general manager José Luis Cerrillo explains, Cocoloon recently debuted at Cosmoprof Hong Kong in an effort to penetrate the Asian and Middle Eastern markets.
