That’s exactly what top American bloggers Lainy Hedaya and Olivia Lopez were able to experience a few weeks ago on a trip to Barcelona. On April 23rd, the streets of Natura Bissé’s hometown of Barcelona are filled with books and roses to celebrate St. George’s Day, the treasured Catalan celebration that inspired the brand’s Beauty Lovers day.

The Hotel Arts

To commemorate this special occasion, we invited Lainy and Olivia to witness this experience of a lifetime firsthand. The trip was filled with delicious meals, sightseeing, Catalan culture and, of course, unique skincare and wellness. The Hotel Arts hosted the bloggers, offering them exceptional customer service, extraordinary seaside views of the city’s beaches and the Mediterranean, and luxurious wellness experiences.

Fresh of the plane, Lainy and Olivia were treated to a tailored sixty-minute facial to revitalize their skin’s luminosity and firmness at the 43 the Spa. A peaceful oasis within the Hotel Arts, the Spa offers an extensive menu of Natura Bissé products and an open-air terrace with breathtaking views of Barcelona.

Not only were spa treatments in the mix, but also Barcelona’s top distinguished culinary picks. Our lovely guests dined at a new wellness vegetarian restaurant called The Green Spot, which boasts extraordinary interior design, as well as Albert Adrià’s established Tickets. The locale, located in one of the city’s up-and-coming neighborhoods, is one of the world’s most in-demand restaurants and the ladies enjoyed a personalized tapas tasting menu, including a very special Saint George’s Day dessert.

The Natura Bissé team joined the bloggers throughout the weekend to visit the most iconic spots of Barcelona including Gaudi’s La Pedrera and Casa Batlló, which were decorated in red to celebrate the popular festivity in Barcelona. A stop at the Sagrada Familia basilica was of course another must.

On April 23rd, the sweet Spanish blogger Patricia Sañes joined the group to celebrate Saint George’s Day. The city’s liveliness was evident while walking through Rambla Catalunya as it was traditionally filled with roses and bookstands. After much walking, shopping at the luxurious Passeig de Gràcia was exactly what the ladies needed and they stumbled upon the most chic Spanish brands, such as Castañer.

Overall, the blogger trip was an intense, fun and unforgettable three-day journey that will go down in Natura Bissé’s history. We were thrilled to share this experience with Lainy and Olivia, who were the most amazing guests to celebrate this beautiful Catalan tradition that makes up our wonderful city of Barcelona.
