Fahrenheit Cologne: The Fragance
With this new opus, François Demachy, Dior's exclusive perfumer-creator, set out to compose a fragrance with the freshness of a cologne and all the force of Fahrenheit, a House classic.
“It is a composition that encapsulates the mastery and the melding of opposites. A pared-back Fahrenheit, but still in possession of its arresting soul,” explains François Demachy of his new creation. Making this scent meant purifying the structure of a strong-charactered classic in order to imbue it with a new degree of freshness.
The woody characteristics of Fahrenheit – brought by Haitian vetiver and Virginian cedar – are over-layered with a citrus hook, the signature traditional to . This surprising accord is provided by Sicilian mandarin essence and zesty Calabrian bergamot.
