Natural Cosmetics from Spain
Fragàncies del Montseny, Phergal, Propiel, Thalissi and Terpenic Labs came together in the ‘Beauty from Spain’ platform organized by ICEX Spain Trade and Investment and the Spanish Office for Economic and Commercial Affairs in Düsseldorf at the 10th anniversary of the leading global trade fair.
According to the Kline consulting group, the natural cosmetics industry has an annual turnover of 33 billion US dollars, which accounts for 13% of the global beauty market. Furthermore, their forecasts indicate that this figure will climb to 50 billion dollars by 2019. The growing popularity of these products is the result of increased environmental awareness by consumers who refuse to purchase chemical or petroleum-based products and instead opt for ingredients that more closely resemble the skin’s naturally occurring biochemical composition.
Fraganciès del Montseny: natural and organic products that are COSMOS-certified by the Soil Association and created with materials from organic farms located in the Montseny Natural Park (Barcelona), a Biosphere Reserve.
Laboratorios Phergal: Naturtint, a range that expands on its ammonia-free hair color treatment line, and with E’Lifexir Nature Beauty, a complete line of gels that specifically target each body area.
The new cream Propiel, which came about in response to consumer demand for a natural product that treats psoriasis without the use of corticoids or parabens.
Terpenic Labs: the brand’s organically certified chemotyped essential oils, vegetable oils and hydrolates.
Thalissi: which has been making high-quality natural cosmetics with organic ingredients since 1969. Range of body oils, including its renowned Queen Elizabeth Water, a purifying vegetable-based tincture with a draining effect.
