Montblanc celebrates new boutique concept in Hamburg.
Montblanc, the leader in men’s luxury accessories, has inaugurated a new boutique of over 200 square meters in the very heart of Hamburg at Neuer Wall 52. In an exclusive circle of special guests from business, politics and entertainment including Clemens Schick, Cathy Hummels, Johannes B. Kerner, Sunnyi Melles, Marie Amière, Hardy Krüger Jr., Yasmina Filali and Nandini Mitra, the Montblanc Maison unveiled the new concept boutique realized by French interior designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance.
The new boutique includes a large entrance space offering loyal customers and global travellers instant visibility of the product as well as subtle lighting. The interior of the store embodies the Maison ́s rich heritage of celebrating the written word in addition to being the destination for fine Swiss time pieces and men ́s accessories. As the Maison was founded in Hamburg in 1906, the new boutique pays special tribute to the culture of writing – lacquers and fine metals evoke writing instruments and collectors can experience exclusive Montblanc customization services, such as bespoke Creation Privées personalization.
Oliver Goessler, Managing Director Montblanc Germany, Austria & CEE, says“The Hansestadt Hamburg is the birthplace of our Maison and still our headquarter today, therefore I am particularly pleased to open the first boutique in the new design in Hamburg. To celebrate the opening of the new retail concept, the Maison has decided to create a fountain pen and a pair of cufflinks dedicated to the city of Hamburg, exclusively available in the new boutique in Hamburg. The Hamburg Special Edition of the Meisterstück 149 fountain pen features a 750 rhodium-plated gold nib embossed with the Hamburg coat of arms. The stainless steel cuff links are limited to 250 pairs with red lacquer inserts one of the most representative elements of Hamburg: the gully cover.“

Striking a balance between contemporary design and classical elegance by mixing black, white and wood, the new boutique offers customers a multi-sensory experience. Customers are invited to a journey of discovery into the heart of the Montblanc universe and the collections are revealed in a display that enhances the fine qualities of each piece. The new concept, realized by renowned French interior designer Noé Duchaufour- Lawrance, features three main design themes linked to the roots of the Maison.
