A Polo-Paced Year’s End
The end of the year promises to be thrilling for Jaeger-LeCoultre, which invites you to join it for highlights and unique moments in the world of polo.
In Argentina, for the past ten years, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been supporting players and their teams through charity dinners and evenings. As an expression of its ongoing commitment to the sport, the Grande Maison will be serving for the third year running as Official Sponsor and Official Timekeeper for the 122nd Argentine Polo Open in Buenos Aires. From November 21st 2015, the eight best teams in the world will be vying with each other in Palermo for the title of this prestigious tournament.
A competition lasting three weeks in which Jaeger-LeCoultre will be supporting its polo Ambassador, Eduardo Novillo Astrada as he, together with his team La Aguada Las Monjitas, will attempt to secure a place in the final on Saturday, December 12th 2015. Sports events of this nature are also great occasions for sharing. A Jaeger-LeCoultre pavilion will host polo enthusiasts wishing to exchange experiences and experience the world of the watchmaking Manufacture, surrounded by its history and creations.
The excitement surrounding polo will extend as far as India where Jaeger-LeCoultre will be the Official Timekeeper for the British Polo Day India from December 16th to 18th 2015. Celebrating this demanding sport and perpetuating the polo tradition are the aims of this meeting, which is part of a series of ten British Polo Day events across the world.
A meeting that is even more laden with symbolism given that India is regarded as one of polo’s historic birthplaces and that the Reverso watch created for the British officers in the Indian Army will celebrate its 85th birthday in 2016.
