Ulysse Nardin was awarded for its musical timepiece Stranger Vivaldi with the Middle East Best Technical Innovation Watch of the Year 2015 prize.
This award was judged by an independent panel of experts, veteran industry officials and watch industry aficionados and connoisseurs and endorsed by the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry.
The ceremony took place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel located in Dubai International Financial Centre, in the closing of the Salon des Grandes Complications which is one of the largest exhibition in the Middle East.
Inspired by the original music box mechanism with a rotating disc and blades on the dial the Ulysse Nardin «Strange» is a musical mechanical timepiece that performs the Vivaldi melody, Violin Concerto in E. Using silicium technology, the limited-edition timekeeper is easy to operate, as each manipulation happens by a forward or backward turn of the crown.
