Once again in 2015,Cinco de Mayofalls on an awful day for celebrating this U.S. honored tradition: a Tuesday. If you thought last years’ Monday fiesta wasn’t optimal, you don’t want to let Tuesday happen to you this year.That’s why Dos Equis is once again saving the holiday, with people everywhere heeding the advice of the Most Interesting Man in his latest message below, and joining the brand’s Dos de Mayo celebration, onSaturday May 2.

But this is no ordinary Saturday, as cities nationwide are already preparing celebrations to make this the most magnificent Dos de Mayo ever, such asLouisville’sannual race of the thoroughbreds andLas Vegas’fisticuffs match of the ages.

Riding shotgun in the HOV lane last month in Tacoma is nothing compared to having The Most Interesting Man show up at Dos de Mayo house parties nationwide, so Dos Equis is giving fans the chance to party with the MIM, by delivering standees to lucky consumers. To make the biggest Saturday ever even more monumental, the first 1,000 fans (21 and older) that submit a «legend line» or an «I don’t always…» line in compliance with the contest rules on the brand’s Facebook page betweenApril 23& 24 will receive a special Most Interesting Man standee delivery.

Additionally, on Twitter, Dos Equis is hosting a contest for fans nationwide (21 and older), asking them to sharethe most extraordinary waythey plan to celebrate Cinco this year with contest hashtag #DosDeMayo. Winners will receive an all-expense paid trip for two to an official Dos Equis party onAugust 29inLos Angeles, where they’ll rub elbows with a slew of interesting guests. The contest runs now throughMay 5.
