Foodies and film fans can unite to celebrate the crossroads of cinema and culinary with an experiential dinner in partnership with Devour! The Food Film Fest, the world’s largest gastronomic film festival, making its Florida debut with this one night event.
Taking place on Sunday, May 22, 2016 from 6:00 to 9:30 pm, Swank Farm will be the perfect back drop for this collaboration of food and film prepared by renowned chefs from both near and afar including Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach Executive Chef Tory Martindale.
Featuring seven different films inspired by food The Oyster Man; Pasta Fatta a Mano; The Main Course: Porter Braised Ox Cheek; La Botanique des Amours; Cheese; Swank Farm: A Year in the Life of a Farm; and Daylily Fritters), each course served will be based on the culinary theme of the film being shown, paired with the perfect wine.
Devour! The Food Film Fest is an annual international festival celebrating cinema, food and wine culture. The five-day festival takes place in the culinary epicentre of Nova Scotia – the town of Wolfville, Kings County. The festival is an experiential celebration of food on film, the culture of food and the dramatic impact it has on our day-to-day lives, pairing cinema with wine tours, tastings, pop-ups, industry sessions and gala dinners.
