MYRA School of Business is a boutique business school located in the royal city of Mysore—an educational hub and a heritage city. Mysore Royal Academy (MYRA) established in 2010 has set up the MYRA School of Business. Committed to excellence in everything we do—faculty, pedagogy, and campus, MYRA has created a unique learning platform called the Immersion Learning Model. The award winning campus inaugurated by Deepak Parekh, Chairman HDFC, in 2012 not only fosters learning but adds to the Joie de vivre.

MYRA offers four different Academic Programs—the two-year AICTE approved-fulltime Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM); one-year fulltime Post Graduate Program for eXecutives (PGPX); Executive Education Programs; and PhD program (University of Mysore). With a pedagogy focused on live case studies, practicums that bring real-world challenges into the classroom and global faculty, the learning experience at MYRA is truly unique. This, along with a variety of industry interactions and programs that facilitate their campus-to-corporate transition, result in “MYRAcles” who are ‘job ready’ and productive from day one of their careers.

MYRA blends Indian and Western perspectives and teaching methods to add intellectual diversity in the classroom, by bringing faculty from some of the top B Schools in the world. Our unique immersion-learning model enables our students to learn from some of the best professors—coming from 22 reputed institutions from different parts of the world. MYRA faculty coming from Arizona State University (ASU); University of Pittsburgh; University of Texas; University at Buffalo; Cornell University; University of Washington (UWB); University of Warwick; Wharton; University of Pennsylvania, USA; Kings College, London; University of Cambridge, UK; Católica Lisbon School of Business, Portugal; and IIMs, India, bring with them significant scholarship, consulting & research exposure, and most importantly years of teaching experience.

MYRA’s full time faculty with PhDs from institutions such as Stanford (USA), Kassel University (Germany); Penn State University (USA); Rensselaer Polytechnic (USA); IIMA and others are exemplary. Most also bring significant industry experience, thus bridging the gap between class room learning and industry practices. Adjunct faculties from Industry bring the much-needed practical edge to learning. MYRA’s cutting edge curriculum offers a solid foundation in the core areas of business such as Finance and Accounting; Marketing; Supply Chain Management; Strategy; and Analytics and Information Systems and an in-depth understanding of chosen specializations. Our curriculum—core courses and a set of electives, is interwoven with “Analytics”.
