Launched in New York in 2015, The Ritualist provides bespoke spa treatments on demand and on location. With the ability to customize each service to the clients needs, The Ritualist is pioneering a new standard in convenience, indulgence and skin care solutions.
Appointments can be made through The Ritualist iOS app with just a few swipes. Booking is also possible by email at reservations@theritualist.com . At the time of the appointment, a licensed esthetician arrives to the client residence or hotel with all the necessary equipment to perform the service, including a relaxing playlist, hand poured scented candles and a comfortable massage table.

An initial consultation allows the esthetician to assess key concerns and discuss desired results. Deep cleansing, toning and exfoliation are followed by spoiling massages in the face, decollete and arms.
Warm stones are used to stimulate the lymphatic system and reduce puffiness and congestion. And last, a bespoke mask and moisturizing cream are applied to address any conditions. Other treatments in the service list include body wraps and massages.
The philosophy behind The Ritualist products is a simple one: every skin is different and has specific conditions that fluctuate due to lifestyle, hormonal and seasonal changes. The Ritualist skin collection includes proprietary blends formulated from plant extracts and vitamins in an electrolyte base, which increases the skin conditioning features of the products. An apothecary like approach allows on the spot formulation. Base creams and extracts are mixed during the treatment to craft specific solutions and boost results for each person.
Founders Keltse Bilbao and Marta Cros met in Miami in 2005, where they became quick friends and spa buddies. Nearly 10 years later, they reunited in New York, where both worked in the fast paced fashion industry.
To decompress from their hectic lifestyles, they resumed their little spa ritual, but soon became frustrated with the hassle of booking appointments days in advanced and having to navigate the city to get some pampering. One day they wondered: why can´t we have it at home? They set to recreate a luxurious spa experience at home and The Ritualist was born.
