Now, you can live by the light of the moon. With glow as soft as the moonlight, anappearance as mysterious and romantic as the moon, Luna is a moon lantern created by the Taiwanese team, Acorn Studio. To bring the design to life, Luna’s crowdfunding project has launched on Indiegogo on September 1st. Luna is mainly made of glass fiber and non-toxic latex. It is water and heat resistant, crashworthy, and the luminosity is adjustable (from LUX1 to LUX5).

Luna comes in seven sizes, ranging from 3.2 inches to 23.6 inches. Each and every Luna is hand crafted and one-of-a-kind. «You can see Luna as a stylish lantern which immediately makes a space feel different and refreshing. It could be a serene light in the corner of a room, a loving companion for you after a long day, or a piece of artwork – you decide what Luna is to you and how you want to make your life prettier with it,» says Acorn Studio. Luna has also been used on concert stages and music videos, creating stunning effects.

Believing that the living spaces of humans affect their minds and emotions, Acorn Studio has been exploring human-space relationships. Since the moon has been a divine and enchanting symbol in human history, and it evokes diverse feelings such as mystery, delight, relief and romance, the Acorn team was inspired to create Luna, the artwork that transforms a space into a magical world. They hope Luna brings more happiness and surprises to people in their daily lives.
