As artistic as its designs, the Spanish brand’s new-look website has just unveiled Jimi’s Kiss, in a preview of its forthcoming bag collection ‘An Internal Dialogue’, with chance to place exclusive pre-orders on line right now.
Drawing again on surrealism, free association and private intuition, Inés Figaredo has designed a collection that embraces contradiction — modern yet classical, industrial yet handcrafted, literal but conceptual — and aspires to produce the wow factor. Jimi’s Kiss is undoubtedly the star of the show, and the designer intends her new clutch bag to “provoke perplexity”.
Shaped like a luxury lipstick and available in three interchangeable colours, it is made from nappa and metalworked from 18k gold. The e-shop on the new-look website also gives access to next season’s full collection and the atelier service which customises its iconic Who bag.
Authentic and striking, the bag brand was launched in 2011 and has already found favour with customers like Lady Gaga. A regular at Paris Fashion Week, it exports 95% of output to Europe, Asia, Middle East and the USA.
