Unisa takes steady steps into European fashion capitals
Trendy, comfortable and top quality defines the footwear of this Spanish brand, on the verge of opening a London showroom.
Present in 71 countries, with eleven of its own boutiques, more than 50 shop-in-shops in department stores and 2,000 PoS all over the world,Unisa is now crossing the Eurotunnel. The women’s footwear brand is consolidating its position in Europe, opening new sales offices in London, at 7, Percy Street, close to centrally-located Oxford Street. From the end of the month, it will have a showroom at the site which will take charge of growth across the UK.
In the second half of March, when Paris Fashion Week turns the French capital into a hotbed of new trends, Unisa will be opening its second boutique in the city. A logical step since France is its second largest market in sales terms, behind Germany. To its shop on Rue de Rennes and shop-in-shop in Printemps, Unisa will be adding the new boutique at 90, Rue Saint Antoine in the stylish quartier of Le Marais.
The company is also putting the finishing touches to expansion in Latin America, due to be rolled out in 2015. The operation will be managed jointly from its Miami base and Chinorlet headquarters in Alicante, South-east Spain. Chile, Ecuador and Colombia are the likely first ports of call on its American adventure.
