L'Oréal Paris To Name First-Ever Makeup Artist Winner on YouTube
L’Oréal Paris has announced the first-ever online international makeup artist contest, The Brush Contest, and it’s happening exclusively on YouTube. Makeup artists will compete for the grand prize of 100,000€ – and title, 2015 L’Oreal Paris Makeup Designer. The contest is open to participants ages 18 and over, and registration closes on February 15th. Those talented enough to make it to the final round will meet in Paris, France for the final global competition.
The grand finale will broadcast from Paris on YouTube on May 1st 2015. This star studded evening – hosted by L’Oréal Paris spokesperson Eva Longoria – will celebrate the national finalists, herald the L’Oreal Paris Makeup Designer Paris vision to empower women to effortlessly create makeup looks on themselves at home, and announce the global winner. The global winner of The Brush Contest, to hold the title of 2015 L’Oreal Paris Makeup Designer, will be awarded participation in incredible celebrity beauty shoots, how-to video tutorial creation, press interviews, the exclusive Cannes International Film Festival, and much more.

The Brush Contest will give them a stage to showcase their talents and potentially become the Makeup Designer for the world’s largest beauty brand and collaborate with us to design new makeup trends, and inspire and empower other women around the world through makeup artistry».
Professionals, amateurs, bloggers, vloggers and Youtubers can now register at thebrushcontest.com, or via the L’Oréal Paris France Youtube channel, under ‘The Brush Contest’ section. Just send a 3-minute video tutorial video presenting a complete look based on the theme ‘Color Clash’. Some fifty videos will be chosen by February 18, by which time fans can start voting for their favorite look. A jury composed of Isabelle Guyony-Hovasse, CEO of L’Oréal Paris France; beauty Youtuber Enjoy Phoenix; and Karim Rahman, makeup expert at L’Oréal Paris, will then choose the winner during a final held on March 12.
