The Pensacola, Fla. based table cover company, Tablevogue, is taking note of a new trend in their sales figures in 2014, a dramatic purchase increase in metropolitan cities throughout the United States.

Traditionally catering to the hospitality industry, sporting events and home entertaining, Tablevogue has attributed the rise in metropolitan sales to a desire to host family and friends no matter the size of living space. Tablevogue’s patented design offers a chic and affordable way to disguise affordable and functional folding tables; giving city-dwellers a stylish option when it comes to quickly creating environments for dining, working at home or entertaining.

Tablevogue is the perfect small-space problem solver because both the cover and table can be easily stored and tucked away under a bed, behind a door or dressing closet. The stitched corner and pleat means no clips, pins or adhesives needed to keep the cover put.  In smaller spaces, the risk of stepping on loose tablecloths or draped fabric presents a hazard. Tablevogue can be washed free of spills and stains in a non-commercial laundry and kept on a skirt or trouser hangar in a closet for easy next use.

Owner and CEO of Tablevogue, Jane Birdwell, designed, developed and patented the product to initially serve as an «on-the-fly» entertaining solution. After the launch of her Pensacola based business – she discovered her invention serves a purpose much larger than only entertaining.

Sales data, collected by Tablevogue, has revealed a 62% increase in new buyers in AtlantaChicagoNew York CityLos AngelesWashington D.C.Seattle and Nashville. During the check out process, 42% of these buyers stated they were inner city apartment dwellers and 87% stated they were purchasing Tablevogue because of its versatility.  In 2013, sales data exposed that the majority of Tablevogue purchasers were buying with the intent to entertain.
