UCEM Opens Asia-Pacific Headquarters
University College of Estate Management announces the grand opening of its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Hong Kong.
Founded in 1919, the College of Estate Management was established to train qualified surveyors to handle estate management and related matters in the UK. The College began to develop and promote its Virtual Learning Environment in 2001 to educate students in over 80 countries and regions worldwide, including Hong Kong.
In 2015, the College achieved the title of university college and became University College of Estate Management (UCEM) providing a wide variety of property and construction courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. UCEM now provides students from all over the world with internationally recognised, industry-accredited qualifications through modern and flexible state-of-the-art online learning environment.
UCEM has been present in Hong Kong for over 40 years, working closely with industry organisations such as The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
The opening of the Asia-Pacific Headquarters is a milestone set by UCEM. It also indicates the rapid growth in demand of professionals in the Built Environment in Asia-Pacific region in the past decades.
