The new products are designed to function as a system. The Phantom Hyperweave boardshort, an evolution of the industry-defining Phantom Boardshort, boasts 50% less bulk than traditional trunks. Hurley’s first compression line, specifically designed for water, Phantom Compression advances warm-water performance apparel. When worn together, these designs offer more than a disruptive aesthetic.

“By creating a system of performance that can be personalized for any style, performance or condition, we are evolving individual performance benefits with each piece of the system,” notes Hurley.

Geared towards technical conditions, these boardshorts are constructed with a Hyperweave waistband comprised of a single woven layer. Free-floating magwires are placed throughout for an adaptive fit. Inspired by Nike Flyknit’s singular construction, Hyperweave brings woven patterning to the water for the first time. This revolutionary construction has replaced the traditional boardshort fly closure for 50% less bulk and supreme comfort. Featured details such as a scalloped hem and lightweight, stretch fabric allow for an enhanced range of motion and maximum protection.
