Break&Walk is a footwear brand for women aged 25 to 45 endorsed by Illice group, owner of B&W Miranda, B&W Formentera, Conguitos, Osito, Fresas and Bad Boy. It operates in more than 3,000 points of sale in Europe, America and Asia. To consolidate growth and bring the Asia-Pacific region into its retail network, Break&Walk has signed a deal with Parkson Retail Group, which has more than 90 department stores in China, Malaysia, Singapore and Korea. The aim is to open 40 Break&Walk PoS in major Chinese cities.

With over 1,650 PoS in more than 22 countries and an online shop with worldwide delivery, Break&Walk has opted for multi-brand retail expansion. Its centralised logistics centre in Elche, Alicante in Eastern Spain takes care of distribution. The brand also has international buying offices in Hong Kong and India. Turnover was up 30% in 2014.

There is also news about Conguitos. Since its creation in 1990, it has been non-stop growth for Conguitos. In 2008, it brought out its stylish Fresas con Nata by Conguitos; in 2010, it developed shoes for newborn babies under the name Osito by Conguitos; a year later it was offering sturdier shoes for back to school with Conguitos Goflex; 2012 saw its entry into kidswear; in 2014, it brought its basics together under the Conguitos Basic umbrella… Now another growth spurt is on the cards, with new line Momem by Conguitos which will be coming out in Spring-Summer 2015. Aimed at younger girls and teens, Momem by Conguitos includes footwear completely designed and made in Spain to cater for day-to-day needs, but without neglecting design and quality.

Conguitos reached Russia earlier this year and opened its first store in Moscow’s Afimall City. It now has plans for a new PoS in the country for 2015. Conguitos already has multi-brand presence in more than 22 countries, including Germany, Italy, Portugal, France, Belgium, China and Mexico. It is now in talks with a major retail group to manage the brand in the USA and Canada.
