Candido Hermida, Opens a New Office in New York

In 1984, Candido Hermida was a small cabinetmaking workshop with 20 carpenters. Today, it is a group of 7 companies and more than 500 workers. We have two factories focusing on wood and wood composites, another two in which we produce metallic fixtures, a general construction office, a solid surface factory and an installations company. All their facilities are in Naron, A Coruña, in the Galicia region of northwest Spain.

They are specialize in “made to measure projects” but also manufacture fixtures for high volume clients like ZARA, MK, LOEWE, GUESS, WDFG and MANGO. They do manufacture, deliver and install their stores and flagship projects all around the world, across 5 continents and more than 75 different countries.

The sectors we cover include hospitality, corporate, naval (luxury yachts, military ships, and transatlantic cruise liners), and exclusive (mainly luxury, private homes).

Their recently opened branch in New York is the result of our work in the United States over the last 15 years. CANDIDO HERMIDA USA INC offers a full array of logistic and installation solutions with a primary focus on the installation of fixtures with local workers trained in our work philosophy – high quality craftsmanship, project-based timing and, over all, service focused on our clients’ needs. While we mainly install fixtures shipped from their facilities in Spain, they also install fixtures from other manufacturers across all 50 states and Canada, for both Union and non-Union projects.
