Glow in the Dark Outdoor Lighting
ECO-DISCS Evolution from Nevana Designs Redefines Commercial, Residential, Outdoor, Industrial and Automotive Markets.
The ECO-DISC is one of the newest energy saving concepts to be added to the growing portfolio at Nevana Designs by Hamish Scott. This unique, durable product is 60 mm in diameter and can be purchased in three attractive colours; Cobalt Blue, Aqua and Green. The product is easy to install and can glow for up to 10 hours at night.
ECO-DISC rewrites the rules on the luminosity level (brightness) and longevity associated with conventional glow-in-the-dark materials; after only a short period in UV light ECO-DISC will glow throughout the night, thereby greatly expanding its range of potential customers to include anyone from large architectural firms to DIY consumers. Consumer applications include pathway illumination, staircase lighting, garden design, alleyway lighting with imagination of use being the only barrier.
Nevana Designs initially released the ECO-DISC exclusively to global industry leaders and local governments who shared the vision of using STARPATH technology to provide a safer thoroughfare through parks and other guided walks. Such has been the overwhelmingly positive response to the ECO-DISC, Nevana Designs is even trialling a modified version (an ECO-BAR) for use on road marker pegs which can be seen at night from distances up to 100m.
Hamish Scott comments on the feedback received since launching his bespoke company Nevana Designs: «I have worked with many worldwide agencies with the cutting edge technology and after the success of STARPATH many people approached me to see if I could rise to the challenge of adapting the formula to assist with their promotional campaigns.»
Ultimately the ground breaking technology powering the ECO-DISC delivers an attractive, energy saving alternative to traditional pathway, cycle path or indeed highway lighting, while also providing the opportunity to harness the technology to households looking to smarten up their pathways, patios or decks in a safe and environmentally responsible way.
