For America’s nearly 74 million homeowners, fall has become much more than changing leaves and football games. As the season between the busy summer months and holiday entertaining, it has also become a popular time for home improvement. Lumber Liquidators, the largest specialty retailer of hardwood flooring in North America, offers the latest in flooring styles and is launching its 2015 Fall Flooring Season to help homeowners make the most of their renovations.
Tom Sullivan, Founder and Acting Chief Executive Officer, commented, «We are focused on getting back to basics. That means offering great prices and expert advice on the hottest trends in quality hardwood flooring. We have truly unique styles and incredible deals lined up for this Fall Flooring Season.»
The Company is marking the beginning of the season today with a Fall Flooring Kickoff Sale with unbelievable deals on the newest flooring styles and trends in prefinished hardwood (more than 150 varieties from $0.99 per square foot), bamboo (more than 30 varieties from $1.59 per square foot), laminate and vinyl (more than 50 varieties from $0.49 per square foot), wood-look tile and more. The sale, which ends September 8, also includes 24-month special financing, 20 percent off all Dream Home American and European Laminate and a $1 per square foot discount on all Bellawood prefinished hardwood flooring.
Lumber Liquidators’ focus on hardwood flooring naturally makes it uniquely knowledgeable on trends in the category. Three looks are shining brightest as the 2015 Fall Flooring Season begins: whitewashed, distressed and gray. All trends are available across the many varieties being featured in the Fall Flooring Kickoff Sale.
Home design guru, Ty Pennington, and celebrity realtor, Josh Altman, agree with Lumber Liquidators’ take on the latest flooring trends. «Gray is an easy color to style around – it goes with most any accent color,» said Pennington. Altman added: «Lighter gray is the new look to modern flooring.» Altman and Pennington have also seen heightened interest in distressed flooring through their different vantage points. «I see a lot of it due to its universal palatability to different decor and low maintenance required to keep it looking good,» Altman said.
Lumber Liquidators is working further with Pennington to celebrate the Fall Flooring Season. «Ty’s Trends» – a sweepstakes running from August 26 through November 17 – will give fans a chance to vote for their favorite of his flooring trends and enter to win $4,000in Lumber Liquidators flooring.
