Kiehl’s Since 1851 proudly announces its 6th Annual Artist Collaboration for Holiday – introducing Kiehl’s x Craig & Karl. Designed by International artist duo Craig & Karl, this limited-edition label is a kaleidoscope of vibrant color that will adorn some of Kiehl’s most beloved customer favorites, including Kiehl’s Creme de Corps, Creme de Corps Whipped, Ultra Facial Cream, Calendula Toner, Hand Salve and a lip balm set.

Evoking the celebratory nature of the holiday season and Kiehl’s quirky, New York City-inspired spirit, the festive graphic print outfits Kiehl’s Holiday items so beautifully that each serves as a unique, ready-made gift perfect for the season of giving.

Kiehl’s x Craig & Karl builds upon the success of Kiehl’s long-standing relationship with the artist community. Each year, in honor of the Holiday season, Kiehl’s partners with a different artist to design a special limited-edition label.  Previous holiday collaborations have included artists such as Jeff Koons, Kenny Scharf and Eric Haze.  This year, Kiehl’s has teamed up with Craig Redman and Karl Maier, better known as Craig & Karl.

“We were so excited to have Craig & Karl as our holiday partners this year. Their colorful illustrations are incredibly unique and we knew their creativity would blend perfectly with Kiehl’s,” stated Maria Gustafson, Senior Vice President, Global Creative for Kiehl’s Since 1851“In addition to our packaging, we are translating their design into our windows, in-store merchandising, gift box sets and other collateral items, so that when a customer enters our stores, they will experience Craig & Karl’s vision for holiday in a uniquely Kiehl’s way”. 

Based in different parts of the world, Craig in New York City and Karl in London, the internationally renowned pair are graphic artists who specialize in illustration and installation projects. Recognized for their portraits of mainly high-profile figures and celebrities, such as Jay-Z, Woody Allen, Lady Gaga and Karl Lagerfeld, both artists collaborate on a daily basis to create work that is bold, yet filled with simple messages that are often humorous. Craig & Karl have exhibited across the world and have collaborated with LVMH, Google, Nike, Apple, MCM and Le Specs, to name a few.

“We were inspired to partner with Kiehl’s because they take great care with not only their products, but also with how the brand is visually presented to the world, which of course is very appealing to us,” stated Craig & Karl. “Their previous collaborations have been very high quality; the people involved are such amazing artists, so we were super honored to be asked.”

In addition to Kiehl’s individual offerings, customers have the option of customizing their own gift sets, personalizing their holiday gifting with the Kiehl’s products of their choice. All gift collections, including custom gift-wrapping service with Limited Edition Kiehl’s x Craig & Karl gift boxes, are available at Kiehl’s freestanding stores worldwide and select specialty retailers.
