Notorious brands have turned the Backpack into a must have. Until next Saturday, Colette will be selling the risky proposal of the maison. In the 90’s, big brands such as Louis Vuitton or Prada took the backpack concept out of the sport ambit and made it the new fetish element among fashionistas.
Decades later, the trend is back, the Backpack will be one of the most trendy bags of this Spring-Summer season. Chanel‘s proposal, thanks to its hyper-creative designer Karl Lagerfeld, goes further than that and turns the backpack into a creative support. The result is an accesory made in patterned fabric with graffitis, made of coarse linen canvas, ornated with multicoroled strings, chains and carabiners. Every single motif has been created specially for it. Its design includes, obviously, the iconic codes of the maison, the padding and the metalized double C.
