Pretty Loafers teams up with Mattel

Pretty Loafers has found the perfect companion to launch an initiative that is even more likely to hit the spot than Cupid’s arrows: it has teamed up with toy brand Mattel in a “Barbie & Ken Saint Valentine’s Day” collection to mark the universal celebration of love.

Courtesy of Mascaró, the iconic couple will be encouraging lovers around the world to rekindle the romance in their relationship with two coordinated designs. “Barbie leopard poni heart crystal and chain” has been created on a pointed-toe shoe shape with a box-shaped flap. It comes in leopard print and natural hair, featuring a gold chain trimmed with a pink Swarovski crystal heart. “Ken fade to grey poni” is a loafer-slipper to wear with a dinner jacket at gala dinners or to give a casual look that touch of glamour. Designed in pony hair, it is gradated from jet black to grey.

Indeed, the City of Love is Pretty Ballerinas’s latest port of call. The Mascaró Group’s brand has just opened its first flagship store in Paris, at 4 Rue du Marché Saint-Honoré, a popular district for shopping tourists and international visitors, which the company describes as its best customers. The latest addition takes the Group’s total to 94 brand-owned shops worldwide, successfully completing its strategic objectives for 2015, after opening PoS in Tokyo, Hong Kong and Bangkok in Asia, and Rome and Berlin in Europe.
