The Heart of the Furniture Business

Istanbul Furniture Fair (İSMOB), which is the biggest furniture fair in Turkey and the third most important furniture fair in the world, shall host visitors for the 12th time at a new address, the TÜYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center, between January 12 and 17, 2016. It will present the most professional examples of the Turkish furniture sector, which currently exports products to 200 countries.

TÜYAP, which has served 263,177 companies from 97 different countries,  has organized 1,397 domestic and 158 foreign fairs since its foundation, and which is the only private sector fair organization with its own expo center, will host İSMOB, one of the most renowned fairs in the world this year. İSMOB is a platform of union for the furniture sector in Turkey organized with the participation of many domestic and foreign companies and the guidance of the Association of Turkish Furniture Manufacturers (MOSDER). It will host professionals of this sector from different countries located in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa this year in their new home, TÜYAP.

TÜYAP was chosen as the location because Turkey has a geographical position where 60 countries and a population of 1.5 billion people can be reached within 1 to 3 hours, based on direct presentation and marketing studies of participants and visitors together with the locations of TÜYAP’s six foreign offices working in Cairo, Sofia, Tehran, Moscow, Tbilisi and Skopje. This also includes over 20 foreign presentation networks located in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, China, Taiwan, India and Korea.

Furniture that will attract a lot of visitors due to its design and quality, that shines out because of its functionality and that energizes authentic designs, will be presented to visitors at this fair organized by MOSDER who represent 75% of the Turkish furniture sector and who perform important studies that strengthen the importance of the sector globally. Beylikduzu TUYAP Fair Convention and Congress Center, the biggest and most cutting-edge fair center in Turkey due to its service, concept quality and technical sub-structure, will host thousands of professionals and sector representatives at İSMOB Fair in an exhibition area of total 120,000 sqm.
