Kari Gran Boasts 200% Sales Growth

>Consumers are rapidly kissing chemicals goodbye when it comes to their beauty routine, and all natural beauty brand Kari Gran is reaping the benefits to the tune of unprecedented company growth, including a recently inked national distribution deal. Today, the company announced its popular Lip Whips have been picked up by beauty retailer Sephora, marking the first time Kari Gran products will be available on retail shelves nationwide and ushering in a new era for this boutique eco-luxe brand.

«Having launched just a few years ago, this is a huge step for our business to have been invited to the party by Sephora», said Lisa Strain, co-founder of Kari Gran. «We believe this is a testament to the growing consumer demand for all natural products with good-for-you ingredients».

A selection of the company’s mega-popular Lip Whips will be available at Sephora.com starting in March 2015, and will be in 300 Sephora U.S. retail locations by the end of April 2015, in the highly coveted «Beauty on the Fly» section. The Lip Whips contain a soothing combination of organic oils, organic beeswax and natural vitamin E, adding a smooth finishing touch that works equally well alone or paired with lipstick. Each Lip Whip is packaged in a petite screw top pot and retails for $15-$20 depending on color.

While many beauty brands churn out an overwhelming number of products that overpromise, Kari Gran does the opposite. Channeling the «little black dress» approach of less is more, the full Kari Gran skin care and beauty line is handcrafted and hand poured using the finest all natural, wild-harvested and non-GMO ingredients available, the skin care line includes a simple three-step system using Cleansing Oil, Hydrating Tonic and an Essential Serum, plus the Lip Whip. Rounding out the offerings, Kari Gran’s newly launched mineral makeup line includes a Foundation and Concealer in multiple shades, one shade each of Blush and Eyeshadow, and a sheer Setting Powder.

Clearly, we are filling a need for the countless women who seek chemical-free simplicity, and who are tired of the empty promises and being told they need to be ‘fixed'».

Kari Gran was founded in 2011 after Kari Gran (the namesake herself) battled an autoimmune thyroid disorder that caused her to take a second look at the beauty products she put on her skin. What she found wasn’t pretty. Most beauty products on the market are full of parabens and toxins, which are released into the bloodstream through topical application, and have been linked to very serious diseases and hormone disruption. Kari decided to adopt a natural approach instead, and after trying and failing to find a sexy, luxurious take on «green» beauty products, she set out to create her own.
