The daughter and granddaughter of footwear artisans and industrialists, Sara Navarro condenses three generations of experience into her latest jewel-shoe collection, Haute Chaussures — the most personal version yet of the “princess shoes” the designer had always dreamed of. With a discerning choice of materials, an exhaustive study of lasts combined with carefully inlaid silverwork, these high-end designs are for a cosmopolitan woman looking for style, quality, design and comfort from her accessories.

Dizzying and challenging, the shoe silhouette is the result of two years’ technical research and more than ten fitting and stability tests, designed to guarantee maximum comfort. The meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each shoe ensures immaculate composition, while Swarovski appliqué is perfectly set into anklets, uppers and heels, all infused with a touch of cherry or orange blossom. Etched python, metallic looks, suede and pearly nappa make up the first of the collection’s four lines, Evening Shoes, which will be extended over 2015 to include Emblematic Shoes, Season Shoes and Wedding Shoes.

This exclusive take on elegance made in Spain has clear global ambitions, and the designer’s sights are set, in particular, on Hollywood’s red carpet and the avenues of the Emirates. “The aim is to reach sublime heights in what we do best and show it to the rest of the world”, explains Sara. Haute Chaussures intend to leave their luxury footprint on the USA and United Arab Emirates, as well as South-east Asia, Russia and China.
