Seven Bags For Seven Days
A good accessory can change your look, so we offer a proposal of bag for every day of the week.
When it comes to putting an outfit together, one of the things that concerns us is choosing the right shoes, the ideal blouse, whatever jeans look best on us, etc. But what about the bag? It’s like any other important accessory that rounds off our look, and it scarcely takes a moment to either improve or destroy all the work we’ve done. The fact is, the style of the bag, and most importantly its quality, can have a big impact.
For those of you who don’t have a defined style, and prefer to change on a daily basis according to how you feel, I’ve written a guide that has a different bag for each day of the week.
Monday: The week begins, and it’s back to the routine. Time to take to the office all those contracts, exam papers and other documents you’ve been checking through over the weekend. A good option is the new City Steamer from Louis Vuitton, as it’s sufficiently roomy.
Tuesday: Your friends have decided to go for something to eat during your work lunchtime, to chat about what you did over the weekend. Wear a fashionable, lightweight bag such as the new Puzzle from LOEWE.
Wednesday: After the weekend’s excesses, today you feel inspired to go to the gym and do an aerobics class. A design like the Tweedy Plume from Longchamp will suit you just fine for that.
Thursday: You have an event or work’s dinner to attend, and for these occasions there’s nothing better than a small accessory such as a clutch. Valentino‘s clutches always hit the right note.
Friday: Your working day has finished, so take home whatever documents you need in this Sac de Jour from Saint Laurent.
Saturday: A romantic getaway to a spa to help you rest up. You’re best with a weekender bag for these occasions, and Eddie Harrop’s Voyager will suit you just perfectly.
Sunday: Before leaving the spa, your partner has arranged a romantic evening meal and a stroll along the beach – the Drew from Chloé is one of the most romantic looking bags around. Then you’re off back home to wait for it to be Monday again.
