After presenting its collections at Pitti Bimbo for the last four seasons, Oh!Soleil has chosen Playtime in Paris from 4 to 6 July to resume its European trade-show schedule. A regular at FIMI since 2001, Oh!Soleil already has points of sale in Mexico, Lebanon and Kuwait, and is now looking to European and Middle Eastern buyers.

Playtime will be the venue to promote its new line ‘A Special Day’ for Spring/Summer 2016. This ceremony collection for girls aged six to sixteen includes dresses and outfits of romantic inspiration, immaculately made from linen, embroidered cotton and crêpe. It will also be showcasing the latest swimwear at the exhibition, already premiered at FIMI.

With their signature stylish trim and accessories, these designs will be accompanied by Oh!Soleil’s matching beach outfits for parents and kids. For girls, there are trendy lurex fabrics and cotton garments which, as designer Mercedes Duque explains, “are very popular in European countries like France”.

With its motto ‘The more the merrier!’, Oh!Soleil was created in Tenerife in 2001 as a swimwear brand for youngsters. It is now celebrating its tenth anniversary with the launch of a boho-chic ready-to-wear collection for up to age ten. In 2014, it presented a line for girls and teens aged eight to sixteen, defined by its flowing silhouettes. The Oh!Soleil family continues to grow, with special occasions outfits for parents. And so it goes on. Its global bid will be backed by the relaunch next year of its website, set to become multi-lingual.
